About Us
Here at Radish Works we live by the motto, if it’s challenging – do it. We
specialize in software development, but have been known to play with robotics and CNC
Machines too.
The Radish Works founders have previously worked on projects together at Visio
Corporation (now Microsoft), Boomerang
Technology and Softdesk (now Autodesk). In
the past, the projects on which the team worked were primarily focused on Computer Aided Design (CAD). Radish Works founders designed and developed
several applications for the CAD industry such as IntelliCAD,
Autodesk's AutoCAD Map, and Utility Design System.
After our work in the CAD industry we decided it was time for a change. We
decided making computer games might be fun. Our Rodeo titles were
created and quickly published by Activision.
These titles were followed by Horseracing and 3-Day Eventing, again
published by Activision and
later
THQ.
All of our game titles were a great success and distribution exceeded
hundreds of thousands of copies.
Radish Works then developed Cosmos Creator, that was acquired by
Right Hemisphere (now SAP). Creator is a fully integrated interactive 3D
(i-3D) application-authoring environment for creating real time 3D games,
interactive visualizations and online 3D virtual worlds. The Creator
product line is used for interactive 3D training and multimedia for such
companies as Boeing, Bell Helicopter, BAE Systems, ESPN, Ford, NASA,
Northrop Grumman, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon, Saab, Six Flags, Stanford, US
Air Force, US Army, US Navy, Volvo, and many others.
Our latest project has been Web Based Mission Manager software for emergency and disaster management. This service has proven itself as a leading tool and become a standard in many areas and groups. Mission Manager has been acquired by Ambient Alert, who has changed their name to Mission Manager Inc.
